Non-academic scholarships!


Why not pay for college while also tackling hunger? Collect as many jars of the gooey stuff as you can and you could win the scholarship prize and help feed the hungry, as your jars will be donated to local food banks. The winner of the scholarship prize will be picked at random. Every 10 jars of peanut butter collected counts as one entry, so collect as many as you can to increase your chances and help as many people as you can.

Are you a graduate burdened by heaps of student debt? Great news! Student and alumni, alike, are able to apply. With $40,000 in prize money, this is the single biggest scholarship award not attached to an educational institution. Simply fill in your personal information and state what you would do with the prize money. Winners of the competition will be chosen at random.

Every great invention started with an idea, which turned into a drawing, which turned into something revolutionary. Catalyze your ideas into reality by submitting a drawing of the Google logo that corresponds to the sentence “If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place...” If you are selected as the lucky winner, your artwork will be displayed on the Google homepage and win a personal scholarship and grant for your school. Open to K-12 U.S. students with artistic flair.

Show off your ingenuity and budding fashion design skills by creating a prom dress using duct tape. You can enter the contest alone in the “Single” category or enter yourself and your date in the “Couple” category. Prize: $10,000 scholarship for each member of the winning couple and $5,000 for their school; $5,000 for the each member of the couple coming in second place and $3,000 for their school

If you are a vegetarian or vegan, and passionate about helping young people think innovatively about healthy and animal-free eating, this is the competition for you. Simply create a video relating to what you want others to know about vegetarianism or veganism and you could win one of the three cash awards.
